A connective device allows the user to connect with a laptop or other device to convert the scanned optical character recognition into digital files. The file can then be transferred to your client’s preferred output; enlarged, converted to speech or braille.  A connective device can be portable or fixed.  A technology assessment should be used to determine the device that best suits your client’s needs.
