Closed Circuit Televisions or CCTV are powerful magnifiers available for people with low vision. CCTVs allow people with low vision to put an item under the camera and it will quickly and easily magnify the object at up to 75x magnification. The magnifiers are useful when your client requires their hands free to do other tasks, such as writing, craft or personal grooming. CCTV do not connect to the computer, but are a low-tech aide available to quickly and easily enlarge objects, photos or writing.
A technology assessment should be used to determine the device that best suits your client’s needs. Click each image for a product demonstration
